Artificial intelligence and open data

Satellite event
The Center for Law, Ethics and Digital Technologies at Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University, with the support of the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, invites you to participate in the discussion “Artificial Intelligence and Open Data”.

Artificial intelligence and open data are promising technological advances and powerful analytical tools. From 2015 to 2020, the use of artificial intelligence in some business sectors increased by 270%. The global market for artificial intelligence is estimated to be between $ 190.6 billion and $ 327.5 billion over the next five years.
According to the report “The Economic Impact of Open Data: Opportunities for value creation in Europe”, the open data market size is estimated at €184 billion and forecast to reach between €199.51 and €334.21 billion in 2025.
The level of maturity of the open data sector in Ukraine is 84% according to the Open Data Maturity Report 2020. We provide up to 100% of public services online and open government.
Impressive data, isn’t it?

Our discussion focuses on the following issues:

  • What is artificial intelligence? What is open data? What opportunities does their use open up?
  • Are there any risks in using them? How to overcome these risks?
  • What impact does artificial intelligence and open data have on society?
  • How does open data contribute to transparency, public control of governments and business development?
  • Will artificial intelligence replace humans in the production, management and services? Are “artificial” lawyers successful?
  • How will the combination of artificial intelligence and open data contribute to the digital transformation? What are the challenges of digital transformation?
  • What future awaits us with the development of artificial intelligence and open data?

The discussion is intended for a wide audience.

The language is Ukrainian.
