Tetiana Kovalchuk has been working at the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv since 1991. In 1996 she defended her thesis for the degree of candidate of law on the theme: “Legal issues of ecological safety of food” (speciality 12.00.06), in 2000 she was awarded the academic title of associate professor. In parallel with the scientific and pedagogical activity performed organizational and administrative functions as a deputy dean of the Faculty of Law on scientific work, acting head of the department of labor, land and environmental law, head of the Center for Research Problems of Human Rights of the Faculty of Law of Taras Shevchenko KNU. Has skills in developing draft laws, drafting the Agrarian Code, preparing by-laws, organizing and conducting meetings of the dissertation council for defending dissertations. She is the author of more than 170 scientific and educational works. Today Tetiana Kovalchuk participates in the grant project of the National Research Foundation of Ukraine (2020-2021) “The Legal Model of Social and Environmental Security Doctrine of Ukraine.
