Doctor of Law, Professor, Academician of the National Academy of Legal Sciences of Ukraine, Head of the Department of Agrarian, Land, Environmental and Space Law of the Koretsky Institute of State and Law of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.

Sphere of academic interests: national and international environmental law, national and international space law, European law, comparative law. The author of more than 500 scientific works on the above branches of law: individual and collective monographs (including those published abroad), articles in scientific journals and collections, encyclopaedic editions, comments of national legislation and acts of international law. Participated in elaboration of great number of laws and other normative legal acts of Ukraine, as well as in international creative teams – acts of international law on environmental protection and research and use of cosmic space. She has been invited many times as associate professor to French, Belgian and Swiss universities. A frequent member of the Ukrainian delegation to the UN Committee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space and its Legal Subcommittee, as well as to the UN Committee on Civil Liability for Nuclear Damage. Distinguished Lawyer of Ukraine (since 1992), laureate of the State Prize of Ukraine in the field of Science and Technology. Corresponding Member of the International Academy of Astronautics of the International Astronautical Federation. Head of the Committee on Space Policy and Law of the Ukrainian Association of High-Technology Enterprises “Space”, as well as a member of the Space Research Council of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.
