Yuliia Zabuha

PhD of Law, Lecturer at the Department of Criminal Law № 1 of the Yaroslav Mudriy National Law University and researcher at the Laboratory of Research on National Security in Public Health Research Institute for the Study of Crime named after Academician V. V. Stashis of the National Academy of Legal Sciences of Ukraine. Member of the Public Organization “Association of Pharmaceutical and Medical Law” and “All-Ukrainian Association of Criminal Law”.

Yuliia Zabuha’s research interests include problematic issues of the institution of sentencing, as well as problems of legal provision of national security in the field of public health. Regularly provides feedback on requests for bills.

Active participant in various trainings and internships. Thus, in 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2020 she participated in the Schools of Criminal Law and Criminal Procedure for Teachers, organized by the OSCE Project Coordinator in Ukraine. In 2019, she underwent an offline research internship in Wismar (Germany) under the program “Legal Methodology and Teaching Methods in Germany for University Lecturers”.

Speaker of the scientific-practical conference “Criminal and legal protection of constitutional human rights and freedoms in the conditions of COVID-19” (June 22, 2021). Participant of the webinar “Criminal offenses against public health in the draft Criminal Code of Ukraine” (25.05.2021).
