Michael Rodi

Prof. Dr. jur. Michael Rodi (M.A.) is the founder of IKEM and its executive and scientific director. He is also the head of the IKEM research academy. He is also the head of the IKEM research academy.
He is an expert on climate law. His other fields of expertise include the fields of sustainable energy and transport as well as fundamental issues of tax and subsidy law.
Prof. Dr. jur. Michael Rodi (M.A.) studied law, political science, and economics in Constance, Munich and Paris. He is spokesman of the cluster “energy” at the Interdisciplinary Center for Baltic Sea Region Research (IFZO) of the Greifswald University.
In addition to various reports commissioned by the European Commission and German ministries, he advised the Vietnamese government to carry out an ecological tax reform from 2007 to 2009. In 2004, he was admitted to the Scientific Committee of the International Institute of State Law (IIEDE) in Porto Allegre (Brazil) and was appointed honorary member of the Brazilian Tax Institute (IBPT) in 2006.
