Alina Kalinina

PhD of Law, researcher at the Department of Criminological Research of the Research Institute for the Study of Crime named after Academician V. V. Stashys of the National Academy of Legal Sciences of Ukraine, teacher of the course “Fundamentals of Research” for graduate students of the Institute. Member of the Public Organization “Union of Lawyers of Ukraine” and “All-Ukrainian Association of Criminal Law”.

Alina Kalinina’s research interests include methodology and methods of scientific research, crime prevention in Ukraine and the world, victimization of the population, criminological information, criminological security, criminological legislation, the relationship between crime and migration, the impact of pandemics and epidemics on crime, academia integrity, training of scientific-pedagogical and scientific personnel in Ukraine, etc. Regularly provides proposals and comments on draft regulations, is a co-author of several bills.

Constantly and actively improves skills by participating in various trainings, internships, specialized webinars. In 2019 she passed an offline research internship in Wismar (Germany) under the program “Legal Methodology and Teaching Methods in Germany for University Lecturers”, in 2020 – an online training program at Sumy State University “Teacher’s blog as a tool” modernization of the educational process” and “Use of free online resources for the organization of the educational process in distance form”, in 2021 in the same Institution of Higher Education – online training program” Development of a system of academic integrity in education”.
