“LAW AND OPEN SCIENCE: the regulatory framework of Open Science and Open Science principles in legal research”
The event is held within the framework of the Open4UA Project (Open Science for the Ukrainian Higher Education System, 101129085, ERASMUS-EDU-2023-CBHE-STRAND-3). The Project is aimed at promoting national reform in the field of Open Science and developing tools for research assessment. The goal is to increase the accessibility of scientific results for the professional community, students and the general public, as well as to ensure validity in the assessment of the quality of scientific research in accordance with the standards of the European educational and research environment.
The event will include two parts: the first part will be devoted to reforming national legislation to implement the principles of open science and new metric for research assessment. Within this part, in particular, the team of Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University will present the results of the analyzes of national legislation for its compliance with European standards in the field of open science and research evaluation.
The second part will be devoted to the best practices of implementing the principles of open science in legal research, as well as challenges on the way to their implementation.
