Semen Kryvonos
Director of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau.
Semen Kryvonos was born on January 16, 1983 in Mariupol.
Education
In 2000, he graduated from the secondary school №11 in Kremenchuk, Poltava region. Kremenchuk, Poltava region.
In 2005, he graduated from the National Agrarian University with a degree in Agronomy.
In 2007, he graduated from the National Academy for Public Administration under the President of Ukraine with a degree in Public Administration and received a Master of Public Administration.
In 2010, he graduated from the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine with a degree in Law and received a specialist degree in law.
Labor activity
In 2007, he was appointed Chief Specialist of the Department for Family and Youth Affairs of the Department for Family, Youth and Sports of the Holosiivskyi District State Administration of Kyiv.
From 2011 to 2015, Semen Krysonos worked in the territorial bodies of the Ministry of Justice in Odesa and Kyiv regions.
From 2015 to 2016, he held the position of First Deputy Head of the Odesa Customs of the State Fiscal Service. At Odesa Customs, he implemented the Open Customs Space anti-corruption project aimed at eliminating smuggling schemes. After leaving the customs office, he worked as a senior legal advisor at the International Development Law Organization (IDLO).
From 2020 to 2021, he was the head of the NGO Office of Simple Solutions and Results. He participated in the development of concepts for a number of reforms that were presented at meetings of the National Reform Council under the President of Ukraine.
From May 2021 to March 2023, he served as the Head of the State Inspectorate of Architecture and Urban Development of Ukraine (SIAU), established after the liquidation of the State Architectural and Construction Inspectorate (SACI).
On March 6, 2023, Semen Kryvonos was appointed Director of the NABU.
