Ricardo Pazos Castro

PhD in Law (University of Santiago de Compostela, 2017) with a dissertation on unfair terms in consumer contracts. In July 2017 he was granted a postdoctoral scholarship by the Xunta de Galicia (government of the Spanish region of Galicia), that resulted in resarch stays at the universities of Bayreuth (2017-2018) and Poitiers (2018-2019). In March 2020, he got a position as Assistant Professor at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. Since July 2022 he has been Assistant Professor at Universidad Pontificia Comillas (ICADE), also in Madrid. He currently takes part in research project “La protección del consumidor en la era digital” [Consumer Protection in the Digital Era] (PID2021-122985NB-I00), funded by the Agencia Estatal de Investigación (Ministerio de Ciencia e Innovación, Gobierno de España), and led by Principal investigators Nieves Fenoy Picón and Máximo Juan Pérez García.
