Olga Melen-Zabramna
Since 2000 she has been working in the field of environmental protection by legal methods thanks to her work in the public sector in the team of MBO ‘Environment-People-Law’. In 2009 she obtained a Master’s degree in Environmental Law from the University of Nottingham (UK). Since the same year she returned to the EPL team and to this day holds the position of Head of Legal Department. Areas of interest: European integration, waste management, protection of citizens’ environmental rights, international environmental protection, access to justice, protection of FFEP sites and other areas. She is an active participant of international projects, programmes, member of international organisations, actively participates in meetings, conferences and forums at international level on environmental and legal topics. She is a laureate of the 2006 Goldman International Prize in the field of environmental protection.
