Indrė Kasiulaitė

President of the Lithuanian Chamber of Mediators; Deputy Chair of the Mediators’ Activity Evaluation Commission and member of the Mediators’ Examination Commission.
She is a Lecturer at the Institute of Private Law, Mykolas Romeris University, Lithuania, teaching Mediation, Alternative Dispute Resolution, and Mediation Practice to Bachelor’s and Master’s students both in Lithuanian and English. Indrė is a member of the MRU Mediation and Sustainable Conflict Resolution Laboratory, where she conducts trainings on mediation topics. In 2022, she was one of the mediation experts conducting the Ex-Post evaluation of the existing legal regulation of mandatory mediation in family disputes in Lithuania, commissioned by the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Lithuania.
Indrė serves as Co-Secretary of the International Mediation Institute Ethics Committee, contributing to the drafting and dissemination of the revised IMI Code of Conduct for Mediators (2022), and she is a member of the International Board of Experts at FRIMAP Partner UG (since 2024).
She is a PhD candidate at Mykolas Romeris University, researching procedural measures aimed at promoting mediation. She has authored and co-authored numerous scientific articles on mediation, organized and participated in international mediation conferences, and actively engages in international projects such as ArtNoConflict (in cooperation with The Netherlands Business Academy and leading universities from Ukraine, Georgia, and Lithuania) and Rebooting the Mediation Directive 2024 (in cooperation with the Dialogue Through Conflict Fund), funded by Erasmus+ and the Lithuanian Research Council.
She has been a practicing mediator since 2000, specializing in Family, Commercial, and Real Estate disputes, and is the founder of a mediation center in Lithuania.
