An intellectual online game following the rules of the sports version of  “What? Where? When?” for school students

The intellectual game “What? Where? When?” will be dedicated to the theme of Agenda 2030, “The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.” This plan is being implemented by all countries and all stakeholders, acting on the principles of cooperation and partnership to transform our world by adhering to the 17 Sustainable Development Goals. Ukraine, like other UN member states, has joined the global process of ensuring sustainable development. The best way to promote the implementation of sustainable development in Ukraine is through educational initiatives in universities to raise awareness among young people. The 17 Sustainable Development Goals are aimed at realizing human rights; they have a comprehensive and indivisible nature and ensure a balance of the three dimensions of sustainable development: economic, social, and environmental.

Participants expect two rounds of 12 questions each (a total of 24 questions), with access to a live leaderboard where they can track their team’s results and those of their competitors. There will be intense competition and fantastic prizes from the Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University.

The host and question author is Rinata Kazak, PhD, Associate Professor, Department of History of State and Law of Ukraine and Foreign Countries at Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University (Ukraine), and a visiting researcher at Linköping University (Sweden). She is currently working on historical and legal aspects of sustainable development within the Mistra Geopolitics program and the Centre for Climate Science and Policy Research (CSPR).
