Olena Shompol

PhD in law, associate professor of the environmental law department of the Institute of Law of the Taras Shevchenko Kiev National University. Sphere of scientific interests: powers and activity of the state as a subject of national and international ecological legal relations; international environmental law; EU environmental law and problems of adaptation of environmental legislation of Ukraine to the EU legislation. She is the author of about 100 scientific and educational works, among which the monograph “Improvement of Ukrainian legislation on environmental security in the context of international legal obligations” (2018) is worth mentioning.
