Oleksandr Melnychenko
Head of the International Cooperation Sector of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU). Mr. Melnychenko is a specialist in international cooperation. In 2016-2018, he worked at the Department of International Legal Cooperation of the Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine, and later in 2018 became a state expert at the Directorate for Coordination of State Policies and Strategic Planning of the Secretariat of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine (CMU).
While working at the CMU, he was responsible for coordinating the Government’s cooperation with the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) from the Ukrainian side and advocated for its deepening. Working closely with the OECD Global Affairs Secretariat and OECD expert teams, he contributed to the preparation of analytical reports on a number of policy areas in Ukraine. He developed a number of materials on expanding cooperation with the OECD, aimed at bringing Ukraine closer to the organization’s membership criteria.
In April 2022, he joined the team of the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption (NAPC) as Deputy Head of the International Cooperation Department, where he served as its Head for a year. He participated in the activities of the OECD Working Group on Public Integrity and the Working Group on Bribery.
Since July 2023, he has been the Head of the International Cooperation Sector of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU).
