Ricardo Pazos

Ricardo Pazos holds a PhD in law from the University of Santiago de Compostela (Spain), where he is currently a postdoctoral researcher, benefitting from a grant within the “Programa de axudas á etapa posdoutoral da Xunta de Galicia (Consellería de Cultura, Educación e Ordenación Universitaria)”. Within this grant, he spent the 2017-2018 academic year at Universität Bayreuth (Germany), staying the 2018-2019 one at Université de Poitiers (France), where he teaches law of obligations and tort law. The topic of his dissertation, read in January 2017, was the control of the content of standard contract terms, published as a book in August 2017. In May 2018 he published his second book, covering air passenger rights. His research interests lie in the fields of contract law, tort law, technology and law, data protection, and law and economics. He is a member of SECOLA (Society of European Contract Law), GRERCA (Groupe de Recherche Européen sur la Responsabilité Civile et l’Assurance) and ELI (European Law Institute), among others.
