Oleksandr Tupytskyi

Chairman of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine

In 1988 he graduated from Kharkiv Law Institute named after F.E. Dzerzhynskyi.

1988 – 1993 – trainee at the prosecutor’s office in Donetsk, investigation officer, seniour investigation officer at Kuibyshev district prosecutor’s office in Donetsk.

1993 – 2010 – judge of Kuibyshev district court in Donetsk, 2002 – 2009 – Chairman of this court. 2010 – 2013 – judge at Donetsk economic court of appeal, judge and then Chairman of Lviv economic court of appeal, judge and then Chairman of Dnipropetrovsk economic court of appeal.

In May 2013 he was appointed Judge of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine by the President of Ukraine. He took the oath of a judge of Constitutional Court of Ukraine on May 15, 2013.

Candidate of Public Administration Sciences (“Mechanisms of Public Administration” (2009).

On March 15, 2018 at the special plenary session of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine Oleksandr Tupytskyi was elected Deputy Chairman of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine.

On September 17, 2019 at the special plenary session of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine Oleksandr Tupytskyi was elected Chairman of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine.
