Olena Kochemyrovska

PhD in Psychological Sciences, Master of Public Administration. Olena has worked at the National Institute for Strategic Studies under the President of Ukraine; she has a teaching experience. As a consultant, she provided expert advice and counseling on issues of domestic violence, gender-based violence, child abuse to UN agencies, the Council of Europe, OSCE and other international and national organizations. She has been dealing with the problem of the prevention of violence since 1998 when Ms Kochemyrovska joined the working group on the developing the Law of Ukraine “On the Prevention of Domestic Violence”. She is the author of training courses, in particular for judges and law enforcement officers, as well as methods aimed at identifying potential victims of violence.

Since 2015 Olena Kochemyrovska is a Senior Human Resource Coordinator in the East of Ukraine, United Nations Population Fund in Ukraine.
