Vitalii Urkevych

Doctor of Legal Science, Professor – Supreme Court`s Grand Chamber judge.

In 1998 graduated from Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University. Obtained PhD in 2002, Doctor of Science – in 2008.

Prior to appointment in November 2017 as a judge at Commercial Cassation Court within Supreme Court worked at various positions at Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University.

Author and co-author of over 240 scientific and methodological pieces (monographies, legal-scientific commentaries on Ukrainian legislation, textbooks and reference books).

Member of specialized science boards on defence of doctoral and candidates dissertations, at Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University as well, is a member of editorial boards of several national specialized issuances on law. Trained 11 PhD.

In December 2017 was elected as a judge of Supreme Court`s Grand Chamber by Commercial Cassation Court`s judicial assembly.
