Andrey Kozik

Dr. Andrey L. Kozik graduated summa cum laude from Presidential Academy of Public Administration School of Law (Minsk, Belarus) and holds his PhD in International Law from Belarusian State University (2003). He has been teaching PIL, IHL and IT law in universities of Eastern Europe and Central Asia for 17 years. He is a member of many international law journals review boards, societies and groups, including the Board of Directors of the International Society for Military Law and the Law of War, Tallinn Manual 2.0 working group, Belarusian delegation to UN GGE on Information Security and the First Geneva Convention ICRC Commentaries Peer-review group. He is the Editor-in-Chief of Belarusian Yearbook of International Law and an arbitrator and a conciliator in several arbitration forums, including WB ICSID Panel of Conciliators and CIS ICSD Panel of Arbitrators. In 2015 he was elected Secretary-General of International Law and Arbitration Association (BILA Association, Belarus). He published more than 40 articles an co-authored 6 books published in 7 countries. His primary interests are IHL and Cyberspace.
