Ganna Khrystova

received her PhD degree at the Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University. Since 2004 she is a lecturer of theory of state and law of the University. She specializes in European and international human rights law, including the issues on State’s positive obligations in human rights. Ms. Khrystova is a recognized expert on anti-discrimination, protection of vulnerable groups, preventing and combating domestic violence and gender-based violence and others. The reports devoted to state obligations under the European Convention of Human Rights were presented by Ganna on the I and ІІ International Forums on Case-Law of European Court of Human Rights (Lviv; 2013 November-December; 2012 November-December).

Ganna has the Certificate of HELP Trainer (The European Programme on Human Rights Education for Legal Professionals, 2015).

Ganna has the great project experience (as a Senior Project Officer in the Project “Preventing and Combating Violence against Women and Domestic Violence in Ukraine”, as National expert on adaption of Ukrainian legislation to the standards of Istanbul Convention, as National Consultant on adaptation of the online course on Anti-Discrimination prepared by the Council of Europe to Ukrainian context and legislation, as National Expert for Advancement of the Legal Education System in Ukraine, Development of the Handbooks for the Human Rights Law and Legal Ethics Courses, etc.).

Since 2015 Ms Ganna Khrystova is Senior Project Officer of the CoE Project “Strengthening the Human Rights Protection of Internally Displaced Persons in Ukraine”.
