Evguenia Klementieva

is program manager of the Danish Institute for Human Rights. She received higher education at the University of Roskilde (Denmark).

Since 2007 Ms. Klementieva is working in the Danish Institute for Human Rights and is specialized in the process of implementing human rights at national contexts of the partner countries, education on human rights, anti-discrimination and other practices. Since 2014 Evguenia heads the department of Eastern Europe, the Balkans, the Caucasus and Central Asia. She works with the issues of human rights and business from 2013. The main mission is to establish dialogue and common approaches between the private sector, international financial institutions, public bodies and civil society.

Generally the Danish Institute for Human Rights is an independent national human rights institution modelled in accordance with the UN Paris Principles. The mandate of the Institute encompasses research, analysis, information, education, documentation and the implementation of national and international programs. The chief objective of the Institute is to promote and develop knowledge about human rights on a national, regional and international basis predicated on the belief that human rights are universal, mutually interdependent and interrelated. http://www.humanrights.dk.

Ms. Klementieva teaches also the courses on human rights for the Danish Police Academy, conducts courses on human rights for employees, government agencies, teachers, specialists on working with children etc.
