Distinguished representatives of the international and Ukrainian legal communities, representatives of state authorities and local self-government bodies, international organizations, the legal profession and business, higher education institutions, students, colleagues, and partners!\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On behalf of Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University, I am honored to invite you to participate in the \u0425-th Kharkiv International Legal Forum.<\/strong> \u2014 a milestone event which, over the ten years of its existence, has become one of the most authoritative international platforms for professional dialogue, the exchange of experience, and the shaping of modern trends and directions in the development of law, legal education, and public policy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Over the years, the Forum has brought together tens of thousands of participants<\/strong> from Ukraine and many countries around the world. Its discussion platforms have become a meeting place for leading scholars, judges, lawyers, prosecutors, representatives of state authorities and local self-government bodies, international organizations, the diplomatic community, businesses, law firms, civil society, experts, and students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Kharkiv International Legal Forum has long gone beyond the scope of an academic conference. It has become a platform where new ideas emerge, large-scale professional partnerships are established, legislative initiatives are discussed, priority areas for academic research are identified, educational programmes are improved, and practical solutions to the most pressing challenges of our time are developed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Numerous professional contacts established during the Forum have subsequently evolved into long-term projects, international educational programmes, research initiatives, joint expert initiatives, and strategic partnerships.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Russia\u2019s war against Ukraine, the country\u2019s European integration, rapid technological development, the growing use of artificial intelligence, and large-scale post-war recovery processes are fundamentally transforming legal systems and modern legal practice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today, law serves not only as an instrument of regulatory governance but also as a fundamental basis for ensuring security, strengthening the resilience of democratic institutions, protecting human rights, supporting economic recovery, and advancing international cooperation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With these challenges and trends in mind, the 2026 Forum programme has been structured around six thematic tracks designed to address the most pressing legal issues facing Ukraine, Europe, and the international community:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The anniversary, X-th Forum will provide not only an opportunity to reflect on the path we have travelled but also a chance to define new directions for the development of legal scholarship, education, and practice. We strive to make it a space for open professional dialogue, bringing together academic thought, practical experience, and international expertise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I invite scholars, academics, students, representatives of the judiciary and law enforcement agencies, the legal profession, state authorities and local self-government bodies, the legal business community, civil society organizations, international institutions, diplomatic missions, and everyone whose professional activities contribute to shaping the future of law to participate in the X-th Kharkiv International Legal Forum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
