Denise Mazzolani

Denise has been serving as Deputy Head of the Strategic Police Matters Unit and Cybercrime Adviser at the OSCE Secretariat in Vienna since May 2018. Previously she was Head of the Security Co-operation Department at the OSCE Mission to Serbia. Before joining the OSCE in 2012, she practiced criminal law and worked for the UN and the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs as legal expert and project coordinator for the areas of criminal justice and security sector reforms in various parts of the world such as Ethiopia, Afghanistan, Sri-Lanka, Nigeria or El Salvador. Denise is a criminal lawyer specialized in organized crime and international criminal law. She holds a Master Degree in EU Policies and Laws and a Master Degree in EU International Humanitarian Action at the University of Rome “La Sapienza”.
